Conduct field surveys to detect Marbled Murrelets within designated survey sites and to collect related land bird information at those sites. This is an indefinite quantity contract, with a Base Year and one Option year. Bid Item 1A minimum guarantee: 40 ea (surveys); maximum: 70 ea (surveys); Bid Item 1B minimum guarantee: 50 ea (surveys); maximum: 100 ea (surveys). Contract period Base Year: Estimated start work September 27, 2002 to August 5, 2003. All Marbled Murrelets surveys shall be conducted as specified in "Methods for Surveying for Marbled Murrelets in Forests: A Protocol for Land Management and Research", dated April 15, 2002. Abnormal work hours will be required. All data collection shall be conducted between April 15 and August 5. The location, flagging and mapping of survey stations may be conducted prior to April 15. The Contractor will locate, flag, and map all survey stations. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and incidents except those items listed as Government-furnished property.
