B--Potable Water Monitoring, USAG Livorno, Italy

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: The contractor shall perform the microbiological and chemical analysis of water coming from wells, treatment plant, water supply lines, and the swimming pool located within the USAG Livorno in order to verify conformance with the requirements set forth in Chapter 3 of the Italian Final Governing Standards (IFGS); Tuscany Region President Decree 26 February 2010, n. 23/R "Norme in materia di requisiti igienico-sanitari delle piscine ad uso natatorio", and all subsequent modifications and additions. The services included in this Performance Work Statement shall be accomplished based on Appendices #1 and #2. The Contractor shall collect water samples from drinking water wells located at Camp Darby and the Ammunition Supply Area (ASA); from the water distribution system at Camp Darby, Supply & Maintenance Area (Depot), ASA, and Tirrenia Beach; and from the swimming pool located at Camp Darby. The contractor must demonstrate that the laboratory complies with ISO EN 17025 "General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories", ISO EN 9001 "Quality Management Systems Requirements", ISO EN 14001 "Environmental Management Systems" and accredited by Accredia (Italian Accreditation System) for all parameters analyzed. A copy of these certificates shall be submitted by the contractor. FUNDING: The project is funded. LOCATION OF THE WORK: The site of the proposed work is USAG LIVORNO, Italy METHOD OF CONTRACTING: This will be a Request for Quotes (RFQ) resulting in a firm fixed price contract. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: THERE WILL BE A BASE YEAR AND TWO OPTION YEARS.
