The mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC)- Ft. Bliss, TX intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) to award a single firm-fixed-price contract to install new kitchenettes (on three levels) at Building 2474. Work for this project on the first floor includes the installation of a new kitchenette including new finished metal stud walls to deck, removal and replacement of ceiling tiles, new base and wall cabinets, countertops and tile backsplash, new resilient wall base, removal and replacement of mini blinds, new plumbing work above the ceiling and below the floor to the basement for new sink faucet and waste disposal, new range hoods through wall exhaust duct and vent, new electrical panel, wiring and conduit. Work on the second and third level existing kitchenettes includes sanding and staining of existing wall and base cabinets, new cabinet hardware, new countertops, removal and replacement of mini blinds, removal and replacement of kitchen sink, faucet, new waste disposals, removal and replacement of electric drinking fountains with bottle filler, removal and replacement of resilient wall base and new paint.

Any work that a similarly situated entity further subcontracts will count toward the 85 percent subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded.”
