Full Description

The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to solicit bids from interested and qualified Vendors for providing Background Check Services (Personnel Risk Assessments) for Seattle City Light (SCL) employees and certain contractors in adherence to federal regulations for electric utilities as required by North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) per NERC Standard CIP-004-3, Section R3. SCL conducts background checks for many of its employees because of Federal regulations for electric utilities. This also includes pre-employment background checks. The selected vendor must have the ability to run background checks that meets NERC requirements, handle up to 1000 checks annually and include credit checks driving record and education verification a la carte as requested.
