Base Guide with Fold-Out Maps

Synopsis: The 87th Contracting Squadron is seeking sources for the contemplated contract for the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL). This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result of this RFI. The Air Force will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. This FedBizOpps notice is an announcement seeking market information on sources capable of providing the services as described herein. The 87th Contracting Squadron is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. The information requested by this RFI will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Should a future requirement(s) evolve from this preliminary planning process, it is anticipated the deliver will be bi-annual award of contract. Requirement: The publishing and delivery of a bi-annual Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) Base Guide with fold-out maps of McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, electronic version of the JB MDL Base Guide on compact disk, and stand alone Installation Maps. The guides will provide information regarding the various military missions; installation or community services available; local geography and history; and other related information. This publication is subject to the requirements of Department of Defense Instruction (DODI) 5120.4, AFI 35-113, and the regulations and instructions incorporated therein by references, and to the conditions and agreements as contained herein. Any future contractor will have to agree to bear all costs and expenses of publishing and delivery of the JB MDL Base Guide and installation maps. It is expressly agreed that neither the commander, his or her representatives, successors, nor JB MDL shall be liable for any expenses or obligations incurred in publishing the JB MDL Base Guide or Installation Map. No appropriated funds of the United States shall become due or be paid to the contractor by reason of any future agreement. All proceeds from the sale of advertisements for Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Base Guide/Base Map for the Joint Base go to the contractor, who agrees to look exclusively to such advertising sales for all publishing costs and profits, if any. If your firm has an interest in proposing on the requirements described above, please provide a Capability Statement along with your business size and Central Contractor Registration (CCR) status to Mr. Gregory Kaiser, gregory.kaiser@mcguire.af.mil. The Capability Statement should include general information and technical background describing your firm's experiences in contracts requiring similar efforts to meet the program objectives.
