Full Description

The subject announcement is for the posting of a Request for Information (RFI). The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the capabilities and experience to produce and deliver the Basic Expeditionary Airfield Resources (BEAR) Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Unit (ROWPU) Water Production Package, NSN 4320-01-562-6563EJ and the BEAR 550F Follow On, NSN 4320-01-562-6245EJ. These items are designed to meet BEAR specifications and must interface with current BEAR Water Sub-Systems. The Government does not own or possess technical data for these items. Highland Engineering and JGB Enterprises, Inc. are the OEM and have the proprietary rights to the data. Contractor shall furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services. The contractor is responsible for providing, maintaining, and calibrating all support equipment required at their facility or a subcontractor's facility. Contractor furnished material or parts used for replacement shall equal or exceed the quality of the original material or parts. This requirement is for supply services. Our strategy is to place an order for several of each of the above listed NSNs to meet FY-18 BEAR requirements. The projected quantities are still being determined and aligned with funding. Offerors shall not be reimbursed for any costs associated with responding to this RFI. Comments, suggestions and questions are highly encouraged and should be addressed to the PCO.
