Basketball Winch - Recreation

The Jefferson Parish Government is soliciting bids for the provision of all labor, materials, and equipment required to replace a basketball winch for an existing goal at the Terrytown Playground, located at 641 Heritage Avenue, Terrytown, LA 70056. The scope of work includes the supply and installation of the winch, necessary lift services, and subsequent maintenance to the goal. While the existing electrical setup will be reused, the vendor is responsible for obtaining all required permits from the Jefferson Parish Department of Inspection and Code Enforcement and must restore any altered structures or fences to their original condition. All materials and labor must be warranted for one year following completion. The project must be substantially completed within ten consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with physical work commencing on-site within two weeks of that notice. Work is restricted to normal building hours from 7:00am to 5:00pm and must be scheduled five days in advance with the owner representative, David Frazier. Bidders are required to perform their own site inspections and measurements to determine material quantities. Award will be granted to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Contractors must strictly adhere to Jefferson Parish insurance requirements, including Worker's Compensation, Commercial General Liability, and Business Automobile Liability, and must maintain this coverage throughout the contract term to avoid suspension or termination.
