This contract, issued by the Navsup Weapon Systems Support Mech under solicitation N0010423QDF25, is for the procurement of 414 battery assemblies identified by NSN 1H-6140-014685954. The delivery terms are FOB Origin. A critical constraint of this acquisition is that the Government does not own the technical data or rights required to source or repair the part from additional vendors, and it has been deemed uneconomical to purchase such rights or reverse engineer the component. Interested offerors can access general military and federal specifications through the DoD Single Stock Point or the ASSIST-Online portal, though specific patterns and drawings are not available there. Award eligibility is contingent upon the offeror or manufacturer meeting specific qualification requirements per FAR clause 52.209-1. While the Government is not utilizing FAR Part 12 for commercial items, parties may notify the contracting officer of a commercial alternative within 15 days. The acquisition may also be subject to various Free Trade Agreements and the Buy American Act.
