Full Description

Anaheim Transportation Network (ATN) intends to initiate two separate procurements for Battery Electric Buses (BEBs) using eligible state/consortium contracts: one for fifteen (15) 40-foot-long (40’) BEBs and one for ten (10) 60-foot-long (60’) BEBs. The 40’ BEBs and 60’ BEBs may, but do not need to be, purchased from the same OEM. Additionally, different state/consortium contracts may be used to purchase the 40’ BEBs separately from the 60’ BEBs, even if purchased from the same OEM.ATN also intends to purchase chargers as options to the bus purchases if available. The depot is configured for dispensers to be installed on pedestals at the rear of each bus charging space, with a ratio of one dispenser per charging space.ATN is requesting information from bus manufacturers with BEBs available for purchase on state/consortium contracts. The request is for information about available contracts, the bus and charger options available for purchase through those contracts, current pricing, and after-sales information.ATN intends to select bus manufacturer(s) to enter into purchase agreements through eligible state/consortium contracts based on information received from this RFI and from ATN’s independent research and analysis.
