AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE7L7-26-Q-2507 is a firm-fixed-price request for quotations issued by the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime for the procurement of three non-rechargeable batteries, NSN 6135-01-604-8739. The items are identified as Type I with a non-extendable shelf life of 12 months. Delivery is required within 60 days after receipt of order, with inspection and acceptance occurring at the point of origin. The shipment is destined for the US Aegis Ashore Missile Defense System in Romania. The contract mandates strict adherence to quality and safety standards, including MIL-STD-129 for marking and MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging. Because the items are hazardous materials, the vendor must provide a HAZDEC form and comply with FED STD 313D and DFARS 252.223-7001 for hazard warning labels. Quality assurance will be managed via DCMA inspection of kind, count, and condition, utilizing sampling methods such as MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331. Additionally, the contractor must use the Wide Area WorkFlow system for all invoicing and receiving reports.
