Solicitation SPE7L7-27-Q-0186 is a request for quotations issued by the Defense Logistics Agency for the procurement of three battery sets, part number M357380, under NSN 6140-01-484-7670. This is a firm fixed price acquisition with a delivery requirement of 60 days after order. The items are designated as critical application items and are subject to a non-extendable shelf life of six months. Delivery is destined for the Sasebo Repair and Supply Facility in Japan, with inspection and acceptance occurring at the point of origin. The contract mandates strict adherence to DLA packaging requirements (RP001) and MIL-STD-129 for marking. Due to the nature of the supplies, the contractor must comply with hazardous communication standards (RQ034), including the prohibition of ozone-depleting chemicals and restrictions on mercury use. Quality assurance will be managed through sampling methods per MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331. Award will be based on a best-value determination considering price, offered delivery, and past performance. Administrative requirements include electronic invoicing via the Wide Area WorkFlow system and compliance with various DFARS and FAR clauses regarding cybersecurity, counterfeit electronic part detection, and foreign ownership disclosures.
