Solicitation SPE7L7-27-Q-0063 is a firm fixed price request for quotation issued by the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime for one battery set, NSN 6140-01-484-7670, part number M357380. This critical application item is designated as a small business set-aside with a required delivery date of 60 days after receipt of order. The shipment is destined for the USS MESA VERDE LPD 19 via fastest traceable means, with inspection and acceptance occurring at the point of origin. The item is subject to a non-extendable six-month shelf life and strict environmental restrictions, including a prohibition on Class I ozone-depleting chemicals and the intentional addition of mercury. The contractor must adhere to rigorous quality and packaging standards, including MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging, MIL-STD-129 for marking, and RP001 for palletization. Because the item involves hazardous materials, compliance with IP025 is required, and the successful offeror must submit Material Safety Data Sheets and Hazard Warning Labels for approval prior to award. Quality assurance will be managed through zero-based sampling plans per MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331. Award will be based on the best value to the government, evaluating price, offered delivery, and past performance. Invoicing and payment must be processed electronically through the Wide Area WorkFlow system.
