AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE7L7-26-T-4809 is a fixed-price request for quotations issued by the Defense Logistics Agency for the procurement of 38 sealed lead acid storage batteries, identified by NSN 6140-01-628-9869. The requirement specifies a non-extendable shelf life of 12 months for Type I (Code H) items. Delivery is required within 10 days of award, with the shipping terms set as FOB Destination to the W0DA ASC Coleman worksite in Mannheim, Germany. Inspection and acceptance will also take place at the destination. The contractor must adhere to strict quality and safety standards, including MIL-STD-129P for marking, MIL-STD-130N for identification, and MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging. Because the items are hazardous materials, compliance with IP025 and the Hazard Communication Standard is mandatory, and MSDS/PSDS must be provided per FED-STD-313. Quality assurance will be governed by MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, utilizing a zero-based sampling plan. Administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow system for invoicing and compliance with domestic sourcing laws, including the Buy American Act and the Berry Amendment.
