The battery must meet AGM chemistry specifications and adhere to a Type I shelf life of 18 months, which is non-extendable. Packaging must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129 standards, including special marking code 32 to indicate shelf life classification, and palletization as defined by DLA packaging requirements. Sampling and inspection follow MIL-STD-1916 or an equivalent zero-based plan with zero non-conformances required unless otherwise stated, with critical, major, and minor attributes assigned verification levels VII, IV, and II respectively.
