Solicitation SPE7L7-26-Q-2462 is a firm fixed price request for quotations issued by the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime for the procurement of three storage batteries, specifically the Enersys Energy Products Inc. OWY95 P/N PC680MJ under NSN 6140-01-571-5043. These items are designated as critical application commercial off-the-shelf products. The required delivery is 60 days after order to the RE Center Air Division in Patuxent River, Maryland, with FOB destination terms. Quotes must be submitted by September 30, 2026. The contract mandates strict adherence to quality and safety standards, including MIL-STD-129 for marking and MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging. Because the items are Type I shelf-life products with a non-extendable 12-month limit, special marking code 32 is required. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the destination using zero-based sampling plans per MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331. Due to the nature of the items, the contractor must comply with hazardous material identification and labeling requirements under FAR 52.223-3 and DFARS 252.223-7001, providing Material Safety Data Sheets and hazard warning labels prior to award. Payment will be processed electronically through the Wide Area WorkFlow system.
