AI Contract Overview
This contract specifies the procurement of sealed lead acid AGM batteries with a Type I shelf life of 18 months, non-extendable, under solicitation SPE7L7-26-T-4548 issued by the Defense Logistics Agency. The batteries must comply with stringent technical and quality requirements referenced from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, and sampling must follow MIL-STD-1916 or an equivalent zero-based plan with acceptance criteria of zero non-conformances unless otherwise stated. Critical attributes are assigned verification levels VII, IV, and II or AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0 respectively. The product is identified by NSN 6140-01-584-3628 and part number RBC22 from Schneider Electric IT Corporation, with a delivery quantity of four units to be shipped FOB destination within 20 days. Packaging and marking must adhere to MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129, with special labeling indicating Type I shelf life per code 32. Palletization follows DLA packaging standards and hazardous material shipping protocols are strictly enforced per IP025; mercury or mercury compounds are prohibited except in functional applications like batteries, with additional containment requirements for portable fluorescent lamps and instruments. All shipments must include MSDS documentation and comply with DLA Procurement Notes C19 and C20 for transportation. Delivery is directed to RAF Mildenhall in the UK, with the final destination marked for FB5518. The contract enforces a zero variance in quantity and requires inspection and acceptance at destination. The required delivery date is July 17, 2026, with an official solicitation posting date of August 3, 2026, and a response deadline of August 14, 2026.
