1. Respond to questions received from industry.
2. Notify contractors that, the Notice ID was inadvertently entered into SAM.gov as W912P926BA072. A new SAM.gov notice has been created as W912P826BA072. The original notice, W912P926BA072, remains active and directs contractors to the new posting, W912P826BA072.
3. Extend the bid opening date and time. The Bids are now due on June 23, 2026 at 10:00AM Local Time, with bid opening at 11:00AM Local Time.
4. Incorporate the attached Instructions to Bidders with further bid opening information.

DESCRIPTION AND MAGNITUDE OF WORK:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), New Orleans District, is preparing to issue a solicitation for maintenance dredging of the East and West Calumet Floodgate approach channels located in St. Mary Parish, Louisiana.
The work consists of the removal of shoal material from within the Wax Lake Outlet approach channels to the East and West Calumet Floodgates and the satisfactory disposal of dredged material into the Wax Lake Outlet channel beyond the -35-foot contour. No dike construction is anticipated.
The estimated period of performance is approximately 40 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The solicitation will include approximately five (5) drawings and specifications.
ACQUISITION INFORMATION:
This solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) in accordance with FAR Part 14. The resulting contract will be Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP).
REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bidders shall maintain an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov to be eligible for a Government contract award. If a bidder is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database at the time of award, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective bidder. Bidders are also encouraged to post notices of prospective subcontracting opportunities on the Small Business Administration's Subnet, at http://web.sba.gov/subnet. Technical inquiries and/or questions relating to this solicitation shall be submitted via Bidder Inquiry in ProjNet at (https://www.projnet.org) No Later Than (NL T) Wednesday, May 27, 2026, 2:00 PM Central Time (CST). To submit or review inquiry items, prospective vendors will need to use the Bidder Inquiry Key presented below and follow the instructions listed below the key for access. Emailed inquiries and/or questions will not be accepted. A prospective vendor who submits comment /question will receive an acknowledgement of their comment/question via email. Another email to the same address will notify the prospective vendor once the reply is available for viewing.
