Barataria Bay Waterway, Maintenance Dredging, Bar Channel

The US Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, is soliciting bids for a firm fixed price contract for maintenance dredging of the Barataria Bay Bar Channel in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. The scope of work involves the removal of shoal material and its disposal at the Grand Terre Island disposal site, with no dike work required. The project includes the dredging of an estimated 375,000 cubic yards for the primary requirement and an additional 100,000 cubic yards as an optional quantity, along with mobilization, demobilization, and bird nesting avoidance measures. The estimated time for completion is 90 calendar days after the receipt of the notice to proceed.
