BC Parks RHIB Patrol Vessel Procurement - 17.5 foot

The Ministry of Environment and Parks for the Province of British Columbia is seeking a Canadian company to procure a rigid hull inflatable boat (RHIB) for the BC Parks Thompson Section Inland Water Patrol. The vessel must be between 5.2 and 6 meters in length with an aluminum rigid hull and inflatable pontoons. Key technical requirements include a 115 HP Mercury 2 stroke motor with at least a 3-year warranty, a built-in fuel tank with a minimum capacity of 25 liters, and seating for at least two adults. The boat must be equipped with a Garmin 8-inch chart plotter, GPS, sonar, a VHF digital marine radio, and an LED light bar. Additionally, the supplier must provide a trailer capable of hauling the vessel and 600 lbs of cargo. The procurement requires strict adherence to Transport Canada regulations, including the provision of a hull identification number and all legal TSB and Coast Guard safety labels. Specific storage requirements include a waterproof bag for manuals, a locked box for the rechargeable LED spotlight, a locked compartment for the motor tool kit, and a securely attached battery box. A pre-delivery inspection must be completed before the vessel is delivered FOB Kamloops by November 1, 2026. Warranty coverage must span five years for the hull and attached components, at least one year for electronics, and at least three years for the Mercury motor.
