Full Description
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to award a sole source contract to Textron Aviation for the purchase of one (1) new Beech Craft King Air B360 aircraft. Textron Aviation Inc. is the original and exclusive manufacturer of the King Air model B300 (marketed as the model 360) aircraft.
Name and location of Sole Source vendor: Textron Aviation Inc., 1 Cessna BLVD, Wichita, KS 67215
Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) parts 5.101(a)(b)(2) and 12.102 , this pre-solicitation notice includes a Justification for other than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC) as an attachment. The attached JOFOC is redacted, accordingly.
This is not a request for competitive quotations. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available.
The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price contract. The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Parts 12 and 15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 336411. The business size standard is 1,500 employees.
