AI Contract Overview
Fort Worth ISD is seeking qualified providers to deliver behavioral health services to students and families through its Family Resource Center (FRC) program. These services include individual, family, and group therapy, with the goal of supporting indigent, uninsured, or low-income students who have limited access to behavioral health resources. The FRC staff conducts intake and assessments, then coordinates appropriate service options, often working with co-located providers such as counselors, social workers, and case managers to facilitate family-friendly service plans. Many services are offered free of charge or through agreements with providers, but high-demand or specialty services not covered by these arrangements require contracted providers on an annual basis. The contract period begins upon award and extends through May 31, 2025, with the possibility of three additional one-year extensions contingent on funding and mutual agreement. Pricing must remain fixed throughout the initial term, and all purchase orders issued within this period will adhere to the contract terms. The district reserves the right to issue additional proposals and approve new vendors during the contract term if deemed in its best interest. The solicitation, titled "Behavioral Health Services," is posted under solicitation number 22-130-A, with a response deadline of March 20, 2025. The contract size ranges from $500,000 to $2,000,000, and interested providers can contact Tina Harris via email for further details.

Full Description
Many of the services and service providers offered through the FRC sites are available free of charge or as a result of a memorandum of understanding between FWISD and the provider. Other specialty or high demand services not available through a shared, cost-free commitment must be sought out by the FRC administrators and contracted on an annual basis. One such population for which there is high need for behavioral health services but low availability is for indigent, uninsured or low-income FWISD students and families. This request for proposal seeks area providers with qualified staff to facilitate behavioral health services (individual, family, group, etc..) for students served by the FWISD Family Resource Centers. The period of performance shall be from date of award through May 31, 2025. Pricing must remain firm for the entire period. All purchase orders for these services dated and issued within these dates will be subject to the terms and conditions of this bid. This agreement also includes the option to extend the agreement for the three (3) remaining years, contingent upon funding. Cost/price during option years will be agreed upon between vendors and Fort Worth Independent School District. The District may elect to issue subsequent proposals and approve additional vendors for the same or similar items/services during the agreement period, if it is determined to be in the best interest of the District. Subsequent proposals will have the same proposal number followed by an alpha character i.e. (Proposal xx-xxx-A). Vendors that have responded successfully to the original or a subsequent proposal do not have to respond to this proposal.
