Full Description

The Blossburg Municipal Authority (BMA) is seeking Bids to clean, coat and provide cathodic protection for its existing one million gallon steel potable water storage tank on Bloss Mountain Road in Bloss Township, Tioga County. Bids will be received until Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 4:00 p.m., local time. Bids will be opened publicly at the BMA regular monthly meeting that evening at 7:00 p.m. Copies of the Bidding Documents will be furnished electronically via PennBid http://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. Bidders shall utilize the PennBid System and comply with all their requirements and procedures. Addenda, if any, will only be issued to those person(s) on record as having obtained the Bidding Documents. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of BMA, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the total bid must be submitted with each bid. Proposals must be upon the forms provided within the Contract Documents and may not be withdrawn for 60 days from the date of opening. Successful Bidder shall be required to execute the Agreement and provide Payment & Performance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages, as set forth in the Contract Documents, must be paid on this project. The Blossburg Municipal Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities in the best interests of the Authority.
