The Bello Reservoir Liner and Cover Replacement Project involves the removal and disposal of the existing floating cover system, followed by cleaning and preparation of the exposed concrete reservoir surfaces. Minor concrete crack and construction joint repairs are required. The existing 12-inch reservoir fill pipe and fittings will be removed and replaced with new C900 PVC pipe and fittings. A new reservoir liner system, conductive underlayment, and floating flexible membrane cover system will be furnished and installed. The project also includes liner leak testing, disinfection, and all incidental and appurtenant work for a complete installation. The replacement floating cover system will be installed generally in kind with the Layfield Shop Drawings, with modifications as per current Contract Documents. The 2010 Bello Reservoir Floating Flexible Membrane Project drawings are provided for reference to the reservoir's interior piping and tank geometry only.
