Halifax Water is seeking a manufacturer to design, fabricate, deliver, commission, and support the start up/testing of new high lift pumps and associated appurtenances for the Bennery Lake Water Supply Plant (BLWSP). These new pumps will replace one or two existing high lift pumps as part of the utility’s ongoing asset renewal and compliance program. The BLWSP is a direct filtration water treatment facility serving the Halifax Stanfield International Airport and Aerotech Business Park near Goffs, Nova Scotia. The pumps procured under this RFQ will be pre purchased by Halifax Water and later installed by a separate General Contractor. Scope of Supply (Manufacturer Responsibilities) Pump Supply • Provide new high lift pumps meeting the technical specifications. • Include all required equipment, components, and appurtenances. • Note: VFDs are excluded - they will be supplied under separate contract. • The equipment shall be installed by separate Contractor under a separate General Contract.
