Separate sealed Bids for the construction of Northwest Sewer Expansion for the City of Perry (Bid Number 2024-14) will be received until Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. in Perry City Hall, 1211 Washington Street, Perry, GA 31069. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud at said office. Any bid received after Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. will not be considered by the Owner. Following the closing time for the receipt of bids no bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. 1.2 Scope of Work The work to be performed and provided under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, safety equipment, permitting, erosion and sedimentation control measures, taxes, profit, overhead, and other costs and effort required to complete the following: Installation of approximately 3,558 L.F. 10¿ gravity sewer along with associated manholes and accessories along State Route 7 and a jack and bore under the Perry Bypass to the new Jack Links processing facility. The time allotted for final completion of work is 180 consecutive calendar days. Contractor will be required to coordinate all work with the City of Perry and other utility owners who have facilities within the project corridor.
