Bid No. 27-003 RFP INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AT MAPLE STREET AND UNION STREET

Work is to be performed along the southern Maple Street Corridor in Springfield, Massachusetts, encompassing comprehensive intersection improvements at the junction of Maple Street and Union Street. The scope includes micro-milling 6,450 square yards of existing pavement, placing 900 tons of Superpave surface course and 5 tons of intermediate asphalt, installing granite curbing for curb extensions, constructing concrete sidewalks and driveways, and building compliant pedestrian curb ramps. Drainage systems will be installed and adjusted, traffic signal components such as posts, bases, conduit, and pull boxes will be upgraded, thermoplastic pavement markings applied, and landscaping completed.
