Question: I have a question regarding the securing of the Whole Body Laser Scanner, the Head and Face Scanner, and the Foot Scanner. I suspect that these instruments must be secured while in transit, however, I would like to propose tie down points on the walls for the two tall objects (Body Scanner at 114in and Face Scanner at 80.8in) but have the 2in wide strapping removed for use while stationary. If they are to be fastened securely to the walls and floor while stationary and in transit, are there fastening points on the scanners? I'll quote specialized fastening points is required. Answer: The full body scanner will be secured to the ceiling and possibly the walls. Actual tie points will be determined during the installation process. This is why the floor, walls and ceiling have extra specifications. As for the head Scanner, it may be secured at a single point to the wall but will not be necessary once the base is secured. The foot scanner is basically a rectangle design and will be secured to the floor. During transit the laser attachments will be removed and stored separately due to their sensitivity to vibration.
