Biological Monitoring and WEAT Training

This subcontract with the East Bay Regional Park District focuses on providing biological monitoring and environmental training for prime contractors on projects located in Brentwood, California. The primary objective is to protect special-status species, specifically the California Tiger Salamander, California Red-legged Frog, and Atlantic White Sturgeon, by monitoring construction activities. The contractor is granted the authority to stop work if necessary to prevent harm to wildlife. In addition to monitoring, the contractor is responsible for developing and delivering Worker Environmental Awareness Training to all personnel on site.
