Full Description

Bitterroot National Forest, Thinning and Fuels Reduction IDIQ. This contract is for thinning, timber stand improvement, fuels reduction and related services. The contract will be awarded with a base year and two option years. Task Orders will be issued to order work under the contract. The total maximum contract amount will not exceed $3.0 million total over the life of the contract. This is a HUBZone set-aside. The solicitation will be posted on the FBO website on approximately July 23, 2013. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held at 10:00 a.m. on July 30, 2013. The pre-proposal conference will be conducted at the Bitterroot National Forest Supervisor's Office at 1801 N. 1st St., Hamilton, MT 59840; and interested contractors will have the opportunity to join Forest Service representatives for a field visit to facilitate discussion regarding work under the contract. If you will attend the site visit, you will be required to provide your own transportation and safety equipment (i.e. hardhat, etc.). Please RSVP with Contracting Officer Loren Ebner by no later than July 29th if you plan to attend.
