The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide support and programming to federally incarcerated Black offenders in the Ontario region. Objectives: The contractor must provide continuous, culturally relevant mental health support to Black offenders across all federal institutions in the Ontario and Nunavut Region. This must include: • In-person or virtual engagement sessions at each institution to introduce available supports. • Ongoing, on-demand access to culturally competent mental health services for Black offenders. • A consistent and reliable source of support throughout the contract period. The objective is to ensure Black offenders have uninterrupted access to culturally safe mental health services, helping to mitigate barriers to care and support reintegration efforts.
