The Department of the Air Force, specifically the 421st Supply Chain Management Squadron at Tinker Air Force Base, is conducting market research through a Sources Sought notice to identify potential suppliers for the new manufacture of compressor blades for the F110 platform. The requirement involves National Stock Number 2840016950035PR and Part Number 2814M91P01, with an estimated spares requirement period spanning from June 2026 to June 2027. The government is interested in all business types, including small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone, and women-owned businesses, to determine the most effective acquisition strategy and whether the requirement can be set aside for small businesses. Potential sources must be capable of providing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment for manufacturing, inspection, testing, packaging, and shipping, and may also be responsible for supply chain management, logistics, and nonrecurring engineering costs. This procurement is subject to strict Manufacture Qualification Requirements for Propulsion Critical Safety Items and Critical Application Items. To obtain Engineering Support Activity approval, potential sources must satisfy specific technical requirements, including the submission of production documentation such as Travelers, Process Operation Sheets, and Inspection Method Sheets to ensure manufacturing traceability. Dimensional requirements must be strictly met, as pass/fail dimensions are generally not acceptable unless using part-specific go-no-go gages. Interested vendors must participate in this market research effort by selecting the appropriate interest button on the official posting, noting that this notice is for information gathering only and does not constitute a solicitation or a commitment of funds. Technical data requests, such as engineering drawings, are handled through a separate process involving specific administrative fees and standardized forms.
