ADDED 7-APR-16: **** This solicitation has been amended due to a REVISED Performance Work Statement to correct Duty Hours and to extend the closing date. **** Please see attached amendment and PWS. Question/Answers from Site Visit dated 31-Mar-16. Q1. Will we be required to clean all the parts/equipment that are on pallets on the floor or on the shelves during the semiannual clean? There seemed to be quite a few full pallets when we were there. A1. No, will not be required to clean parts or equipment on floor. Q2. Will we need to wipe down any surfaces or will the cleaning be done only using a 55 gallon HEPA vac? A2. No, will not need to wipe surfaces. Q3. Will we need to clean the columns and electrical conduit that are running up the walls/columns and along the ceiling going to the machines? If yes, will this fall under one of the bi monthly or semiannual cleanings? A3. Vacuum clean 'walls, windows, vents, and duct work' - conduit and piping along the walls are included; this is only on the semi-annual. Q4. I didn't see any reference to the ceiling bar joists in the new added area. Are those included in the bi-monthly or semi-annual cleaning cycles? A.4 The ceiling bar joists in the new area would be done on the semi-annual cycle. Q5. I was just wondering if there was supplied compressed air for tools ran throughout the blast room there? If there is any way you could check and see how big the lines are and how much pressure they have? A5. There is supplied compressed air throughout the blast shop for use. The lines are 1" and come in at 100 psi.
