This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 


Solicitation number 127EAX26Q0104 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Bldg 13 Window Repair Replacement


IAW Attachment 1 - Statement of Work, The Honeybee Breeding, Genetics & Physiology Research Laboratory, has a requirement of:


Contractor will remove and replace existing windows in Building 13 (Barn) with energy-efficient windows matching the style and appearance of those previously installed in Buildings 11 and 22. Work includes replacement of (8) 3-foot by 3-foot windows and (1) 2-foot by 2-foot window on the south elevation, as well as (2) 5-foot by 3-foot windows and (4) 3-foot by 3-foot windows on the north elevation. New windows will be installed plumb, level, weather-tight, and in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.


This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238350 – Finish Carpentry Contractors.  The small business size standard is $19M.  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
