Bldg 895 Furniture Reconfiguration Sole Source Intent

Special Notice F3LR30471A001 Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson AFB, CO intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis on or about 26 March 2014 to Workplace Resource, LLC. Reference FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The prospective contractor shall provide reconfiguration of existing Herman Miller system furniture workstations and purchase/installation of additional parts required for new design layout. The primary place of performance is at Bldg 895 at Peterson AFB, CO. 21st Contracting Squadron intends to execute this action as a sole source to Workplace Resource, LLC. Workplace Resource, LLC is the only company capable of providing these services because they are an authorized and certified Herman Miller vendor. This requirement must be completed by a Herman Miller vendor or else the warranty on the existing Herman Miller products will become void and null. Workplace Resource, LLC is the only authorized and certified Herman Miller vendor in the state of Colorado. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 337214 with the size standard of 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit technical capabilities, which, if received within ten calendar days of publication of this notice, shall be considered by 21st Contracting Squadron.
