PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: PROJECT TITLE: BLEACHERS CODE COMPLIANCE AT PARADE FIELD The project work site is located at the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Training Center (TRACEN), 1 Munro Avenue, Cape May, New Jersey (Cape May county). There are two separate sets of bleachers: 10 row high by 105 feet long and 10 row high by 27 feet long. Major work items to be done on each set of bleachers include but are not limited to: Add two additional horizontal boards for all the rows higher than 30"; Add one additional vertical boards for all the rows higher than 30"; Add chain link fence on the guardrails (top to bottom complete as shown) for both sides and on the back side; Mobilization, demobilization and clean up; Supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, labor and all other incidentals necessary to complete the work. Period of Performance shall be 90 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. All work shall be performed in accordance with the USCG specifications, drawings, provisions, clauses and the terms and conditions which will be provided when all Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation document files become available for public download on or after 21 FEBRUARY 2014 exclusively from the internet by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at: http://www.fbo.gov. If solicitation files do not appear on that date, please check back daily. The date set for receipt of offers is approximately 24 MARCH 2014. These dates are estimated and may change.
