Block 30 GCS & PMATS Kit Upgrades

FA8620-10-G-3038-0014 12. This is a pre-solicitation synopsis. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Medium Altitude UAS Division, AFLCMC/WIIK, intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI). This effort will upgrade the Block 30 GCS Kits and spares to the correct configuration, Procure the Delta Block 30 PMATS kits to configure the Block 30 PMATS to the most current configuration, prior to retrofit, and Procure 1 Block 30 FGCS Kit. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. GA-ASI is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the Predator/Reaper systems and is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience and technical data required to perform these efforts. The Government does not own the data rights for the system; therefore, to avoid duplication costs, the Government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.
