This is a PRESOLICITATION NOTICE, Solicitation 75H701-20-R-00060 for the replacement of the Boiler and Chiller at Lame Deer, Montana, a construction project for the Indian Health Service (IHS), Division of Engineering Services. The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation on or about 8 October 2020 and will remain open for approximately 30 calendar days. The solicitation and all amendments for this Request for Proposal will be posted on https://beta.sam.gov/. A full scope of work, plans and specifications and Construction Wage Determination will be included in the solicitation documents. Additional details can be found in the solicitation when it is posted to https://beta.sam.gov/. SCOPE OF WORK: The project is to replace the existing Boiler and Chiller System components due to the obsolescence of the existing system. The scope of work for the project includes: (1) Demolition of existing boiler and chiller system components; (2) Replacement of existing control unit(s) and system components required for compatibility with the existing Building Automation System (BAS); (3) Development of phased approach for the replacement so the existing systems remain in service until the new systems are installed, tested and operational; and (4) Development of Shop drawings. LOCATION OF PROJECT: All work shall be performed on the grounds of the Northern Cheyenne Health Center, Lame Deer, Montana on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation. CONSTRUCTION DURATION: Period of Performance is 180 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000, in accordance with FAR 36.204(e). SITE VISIT: Details regarding the Site Visit will be included in the solicitation. NOTE: ALL DATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
