The Department of Justice, Procurement Services Staff, on behalf of the Security and Emergency Planning Staff, intends to award a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR subpart 13.106-1(b)(ii), to Integrated Security Technologies, 520 Herndon Parkway, Suite C Herndon, VA 20170. The contractor will paint the security bollards at the Main Justice Building. The contractor currently holds the contract to maintain these bollards which, due to the wear and tear and weather, must be repainted. Painting of the bollards is not on the contractor's GSA schedule, therefore, the services must be performed as an open market requirement. This is a notice of intent to award using other than full and open competition and should not be considered a request for information or whether additional vendors have the capability to perform this service. No solicitation document is available. A request for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered a response. Any responses received as a result of this notice, shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a future competitive requirement.
