Solicitation # N0010427QXA12
Solicitation N00104-27-Q-XA12 is a Firm-Fixed Price requirement issued by NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support for the manufacture and supply of various components, including shaft nuts, flask straps, primary diaphragms, gaskets, and retaining straps. A primary focus of the contract is the requirement for 100% non-destructive production lot testing, with specific units such as the shaft nut (Part B16318-1) being delivered to the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division for final acceptance. The contractor must adhere to strict quality standards, including MIL-STD-130 for marking, MIL-DTL-19595 for non-magnetic inspection, and MIL-STD-1330 for oxygen and nitrogen cleaning. The government will make a single award based on a trade-off between past performance and price, with past performance serving as the primary evaluation factor via the DoD Supplier Performance Risk System. Only authorized distributors of the original equipment manufacturer will be considered for award, and they must provide signed proof of authorization on company letterhead. The contract incorporates various FAR and DFARS clauses, including the Buy American and Balance of Payments Program, and requires electronic invoicing through the Wide Area WorkFlow system. All shipments must comply with MIL-STD-129 and MIL-STD-2073-1 packaging standards, with a requirement for the contractor to maintain all inspection records for 365 days following final delivery.
