AI Contract Overview
The contract is for the procurement of 12 units of a machine bolt, designated under NSN/Part Number 5306-01-491-6717, with delivery required within 20 days after order. This solicitation, identified by the number SPE4A6-26-T-10Z5, is issued by the Department of Defense through the ASC Commodities Division, with performance location noted as FPO, zip code 09520. The procurement is conducted under NAICS code 332112, which pertains to metal forming machinery manufacturing, reflecting the nature of the item. The contract incorporates various technical and quality requirements as specified by the Defense Logistics Agency’s master list, ensuring compliance with industry and defense standards for packaging, inspection, acceptance, and marking of the items. Significant regulatory provisions include the application of covered defense information rules, tailored higher-level contract quality requirements, and guidance on export controls under ITAR and EAR regulations. This restricts the distribution of technical data and requires contractors to have appropriate certifications and training for handling export-controlled information. Additionally, government identification must be removed from any non-accepted supplies, and physical identification of items is mandated unless specifically waived by the service customer. Communication and inquiries regarding the contract are directed to Priscilla Holmes, the primary point of contact, with a clear response deadline for the solicitation set for April 15, 2026.
