The project is in Lake County along State Route (SR) 29 between post miles 31.4 and 33.7, extending from one mile south of Bottle Rock Road to 0.7-mile north of Cole Creek Road. The proposed improvements include widening the existing shoulders from four feet to six feet, establishing a four-foot median, constructing a left turn channelization lane at Bottle Rock Road, and installing both centerline and shoulder rumble strips. The shoulder and median widening will be completed through cut and fill operations. Additionally, the work will require upgrading Metal Beam Guard Rail (MBGR) to Midwest Guardrail System (MGS), extending sixteen culverts and replacing one driveway culvert.
