Full Description

This project consists of the removal of the existing curbing and full depth pavement for a portion of Tomkins Street. That portion is to be reconstructed with concrete drop curb, concrete valley gutters across roadway intersections, and full depth black base pavement. The remaining pavement within the subdivisions is proposed to be either fully relaced with black base pavement or mill and resurfaced depending on the condition of the existing pavement. Several existing curb and gutter segments within the subdivision were modified with concrete ramping which obstructs the gutter flow of stormwater. Curbing removal and proposed curb transitions to drop curb is proposed for these locations. Concrete driveways apron adjacent to these locations are proposed to be removed from back of curb to sidewalk and reconstructed to match the proposed drop curb elevation.
