The solicitation seeks 10 units of a lever bracket identified by NSN 5340-01-368-2087 and part number 20788-002, manufactured by Sargent Controls in Cortaro, AZ, with CAGE code 78062. The item may require casting or forging, and the government does not possess the associated tooling; bidders must submit a Casting and Forging Assistance Request if needed. The contract incorporates DLA’s Packaging Requirements for Procurement, mandating compliance with MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging and preservation—specifically using CLNG/DRY:1 preservation (clean and dry), EA wrap material, and box and envelope packaging per code U. Marking must follow MIL-STD-129 with GS1-128 or Data Matrix barcodes, and mercury or mercury compounds are strictly prohibited in packaging and item contact, except for approved functional uses such as batteries or instruments per NAVSEA 5100-003D, which also require secondary containment for portable devices. Quality control requires sampling per MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 Table 1, with zero non-conformances permitted unless otherwise stated, and attributes are to be assigned verification levels VII, IV, and II or AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0 respectively. The delivery point is the DLA Distribution facility in New Cumberland, PA, with an FOB origin term and a 136-day delivery window leading to a need ship date of October 6, 2026. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the destination point by the government under FAR 52.246-1. Cybersecurity compliance is required through DFARS 252.204-7012 and NIST SP 800-171, including a completed assessment and plan of action, and contractors must submit hazard warning labels and MSDS prior to award. Offerors must provide their UEI and CAGE code and disclose any involvement with covered defense telecommunications equipment under 252.204-7018, as well as certify their small business status if applicable. The contract type is undetermined and will be inserted upon award. All submissions must be made electronically via the DLA Internet Bid Board System by May 22
