NOTICE OF INTENT TO PROCURE BRAND NAME REQUIREMENT. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, Pacific District, intends to issue a Brand Name Request for Quote (RFQ) for HGX Pro Bio 800 Holganix lawn fertilizer and Blue Sky 21-0-0, Holganix Lawn Fertilizer for the Riverside National Cemetery on or about August 15, 2025. Riverside National Cemetery has a need for Holganix fertilizer due to its unique microbial function, nutrient support, and proven success at the cemetery.
The proposed acquisition is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). To be eligible, the contractor must be SBA SDVOSB certified. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 325314-Fertilizer (Mixing Only) Manufacturing and with a Small Business Size Standards 550 employees.
