This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number N0040626Q0185 is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for Brand Name Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Enersys replacement batteries for the USS MOUNT WHITNEY (LCC-20).

The Government intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order that meets the specifications outlined below. The proposed contract action is for BRAND NAME commercial supplies for which the Government intends to solicit as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
