2. Description


This is a Sources Sought notice for market research purposes only, not a solicitation for proposals. The 103rd Airlift Wing of the Connecticut Air National Guard is seeking to identify qualified small businesses located in the Connecticut region with the capability to perform maintenance and repair services for a breathing air machine and shop air compressors as detailed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).


The Government will use the information submitted in response to this notice to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future procurement.


3. Scope of Work


The contractor shall provide all personnel, tools, equipment, materials, and supervision to perform a five-part project. The key requirements include:


Part 1: Replace the failing water separator trap and drain assembly on the breathing air system.


Part 2: Install a drip leg with a ball valve at the inlet of the breathing air dryer to collect excess condensate.


Part 3: Replace both tower pressure switches on the Hankinson model 95CBA air dryer and resolve any recorded faults.


Part 4: Replace eight (8) Wilkerson in-line filter elements within the breathing air distribution lines.


Part 5: Provide comprehensive annual service for two (2) Chicago Pneumatic air compressors, including filter and oil changes, system checks, cleaning, and operational testing.


All work performed must be leak-checked, and equipment must be tested and left in fully operational condition. The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and OSHA safety and environmental regulations.
