This is a sources-sought notice and not a formal solicitation, intended to gather industry capabilities to inform future procurement decisions with an anticipated firm fixed-price contract structure. Respondents must demonstrate technical capability to perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections at an FAA-approved repair facility, maintain status as a Breeze Eastern Authorized Service Center with FAA-certified mechanics and Inspection Authorization (IA) personnel on staff, and ensure all parts supplied are commercially available, traceable to the manufacturer or authorized source, and compliant with FAA regulations under Title 14 CFR Parts 21, 27, and 29, as well as FCC compliance under Title 47 CFR Part 15. The prospective contractor will be required to meet strict turnaround standards, including a maximum three-week repair cycle from receipt at the vendor’s facility, and must provide delivery timelines of either two or four business days upon request. No travel or direct costs are anticipated unless authorized in individual call orders, and the Government will cover all shipping costs for Government-owned equipment to and from the vendor’s facility. Submissions must be limited to 25 pages using 12-point Times New Roman font with one-inch margins and are due by 10:00 a.m. CST on June 17, 2026, to be sent via email to the designated Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer. Each response must include comprehensive company information such as Unique Entity ID, CAGE code, current SAM.gov registration status, socioeconomic classification (including 8(a), woman-owned, veteran-owned, etc.), years in business, primary NAICS code used in prior contracts, and documented past performance on similar projects. The North American Industry Classification System code 336413 applies, with a small business size standard of 1,550 employees. The anticipated contract will be a five-year BPA under which individual call orders will specify delivery dates, with inspection and acceptance performed by a designated Contracting Officer’s Representative. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) requests new, overhauled, and repaired OEM and FAA approved hoists and hoist parts, accessories and services on Breeze Eastern Hoists (Part Number: BL-29900-30-1) for the FBI UH-60M helicopter fleet.
This is a Sources Sought notice/Request for Information (RFI). This is not a formal solicitation. Any formal solicitation will be announced separately at a later time. Information provided to the Government because of this posting is strictly voluntary and given with no expectation of compensation and clearly provided at no cost to the Government. Contact with Government personnel, other than the Contract Specialist or Contracting Officer, by potential offerors or their employees regarding this requirement is strictly prohibited.
The summary is as follows:
The contractor shall provide new, overhauled, and repaired OEM and FAA approved hoists and hoist parts, accessories, and services on Breeze Eastern Hoists (Part Number: BL-29900-30-1) for the FBI UH-60M helicopter fleet. Vendor repair and overhaul maintenance facility shall be able to perform major scheduled and unscheduled inspections in support of the FBI’s mission.
The contractor shall furnish new, repaired, or overhauled OEM-approved parts, accessories, and supplies necessary to support Breeze Eastern Hoists (Part Number: BL-29900-30-1).

The anticipated contract type will be firm fixed price.
The FBI is interested in obtaining information from industry. Both large business concerns and all categories of small business are encouraged to respond to this request. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code anticipated for this requirement is 336413 – Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing and small business size standard in number of employees for the selected NAICS is 1,550 employees
