BRIDGE INSPECTION ACCESS EQUIPMENT AND MAINTENANCE AND PROTECTION OF TRAFFIC SERVICES FOR NBIS INSPECTIONS OF 1 PENNDOT DISTRICT 8-0 STATE-OWNED BRIDGE SEPTEMBER 2026 22023-2026.003

A contract is being solicited for the provision of bridge inspection access equipment and maintenance and protection of traffic services for a single state-owned bridge located in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, with inspections scheduled to occur between September and October 2026. The work will be executed over approximately five working days, with weekend operations avoided when possible but permitted if necessary. Bidders must submit unit price proposals for two primary services: the use of a minimum 62-foot horizontal and vertical reach under-bridge inspection crane equipped with four booms—including a perpendicular fourth boom for internal girder inspection—along with electrical power and two-way communication in the bucket, and the maintenance and protection of traffic in accordance with PATA 107 standards, including use of a shadow vehicle with a crash cushion. Equipment must meet specified performance criteria, and substitutions require formal approval demonstrating equivalent or superior capability.
