BRU-57/A Sub-assemblies

This contract is a sole-source, firm-fixed-price procurement for eleven Digital Interface Assemblies (DIA) and eleven Bus Buffer Assemblies (BBA), both subassemblies of the BRU-57/A system used on the F-16 platform. The requirement is directed exclusively to L3Harris Technologies, Inc., the only responsible source capable of fulfilling the government’s needs, as authorized under 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.301-1. Delivery is expected within 12 months with a required delivery date no later than September 30, 2027, under F.O.B. Origin terms at the contractor’s facility, shipped to location SW3119. Each deliverable must be uniquely identified with a U.S. Government Unique Item Identifier (IUID), and all items are subject to strict inspection and acceptance criteria per FAR clauses 52.246-2, 52.246-11, and 52.246-16, with acceptance deemed constructive on the seventh day after delivery unless objected to. The contractor must use the Wide Area WorkFlow system for payment requests and receiving reports, and all submissions must comply with electronic format requirements including EDI, SFTP, or web-based input. The contract mandates compliance with a suite of regulatory and security obligations, including protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) under DFARS 252.204-7019 and NIST SP 800-171 assessment requirements, with current scores required to be posted in the Supplier Performance Risk System. Offerors must also affirm compliance with the Buy American Act, trade agreements, and prohibitions against trafficking in persons, as well as represent their status regarding foreign ownership, small business classification, and participation in federal procurement programs. All responses must be submitted through SAM and adhere to the July 24, 2026 deadline, with additional requirements including submission of a source of supply table identifying part numbers, manufacturers, and commercial item status. The contractor is further bound by transportation regulations including shipment reporting requirements under 52.247-68 and government shipping documentation procedures under 252.247-7028. The award is anticipated on or before September 30, 2026, and the acquisition is governed under NAICS code 336413.
