AI Contract Overview
This contract concerns the procurement of 193 units of electrical contact brushes, specifically Kirkwood Grade 13S, with no substitutions allowed. These items are subject to strict Department of Defense technical and quality requirements as outlined in the DLA Master List, and must comply with rigorous sampling and inspection procedures per military standards such as MIL-STD-1916 and ASQ H1331. The contract mandates removal of Government identification from non-accepted supplies and includes detailed documentation and source approval requirements. Cybersecurity compliance is also enforced, requiring Level 2 certification or self-assessment under the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification guidelines. The contract further controls export and dissemination of technical data associated with these brushes, governed by ITAR and EAR regulations, restricting access to approved contractors with proper certification and training. Delivery is set for 161 days after award, with procurement handled under solicitation number SPE4A6-26-T-861U via the Department of Defense ASC Commodities Division, with the place of performance in Tracy, California. The purchasing office emphasizes adherence to packaging requirements, measurement and test equipment standards, and strict export control to ensure compliance with federal regulations and defense logistics policies.
